From the Artistic Director
Welcome to the inaugural Australian Baroque Brass concert series. We hope you will join us in 2007 as we present a wonderful selection of the most beautiful baroque brass, vocal and organ vocal music all performed on period instruments. In our premier concert season we are very proud to present a wide variety of performances.

From sacred vocal works of the early Italian Baroque through to the pomp and ceremony of the great courts of Europe, the 2007 concert season offers music that is sure to delight the senses.

In addition to featuring Australian Baroque Brass, we are also excited to feature several outstanding guest artists and ensembles including Anna Sandstrom (Soprano), Richard Black (Tenor), Natalie Shea (Alto),
David Drury (Organ), Anthea Cottee (Viola da Gamba) ,
Warrick Tyrrell (Sackbut), La Folia Baroque as well as
the acclaimed St James' Choir to name just some of
the wonderful artists appearing in 2007.

We look forward to spending Sunday
afternoons performing for you in the
beautiful acoustics of Sydney's oldest
church building, St James'.

Sincerely
John Foster
